Join me as I chat with Melanie Heaney about her journey in the figure skating world and her journey as a figure skating photographer.
Melanie Heaney is a traveling sports photographer who specializes in figure skating and dance. I met her at the National Showcase 2021 in Fort Collins, and what a lovely person she is! She has a love for the sport of figure skating. Even though she doesn’t skate (yet😉), she can sense what a skater is about to do on the ice, which helps her better capture skaters' movements.
